Venetian Blinds

Classic Style with Practical Functionality

Venetian blinds are a timeless window treatment, celebrated for their clean lines and exceptional versatility. Made up of horizontal slats available in various widths and materials—including aluminium, wood, and faux wood—they offer precise control over light, heat, and privacy. Whether you’re looking to reduce glare, insulate a room, or simply create a more private space, Venetian blinds are a smart and stylish choice for any room in the home.

Aluminium Venetian Blinds

Aluminium Venetian blinds are available in slat widths of 16mm, 25mm, 35mm, and 50mm. They come with ladderbraid as standard, with a tape option available on the 35mm and 50mm sizes. The standard control system includes a cord for raising and lowering, and a wand for tilting the slats. Alternative control options and motorisation—either via rechargeable battery or hardwired connection—are available depending on the type selected.

Wood & Faux Wood Venetian Blinds

Wood and faux wood Venetian blinds feature robust PVC headrails with a steel insert for added strength and durability. Slat sizes are 35mm and 50mm, also with ladderbraid as standard and a tape option available. Both lift and tilt operations are controlled via cords, with motorisation options available for selected models.

Wood and faux wood styles differ in suitability based on environment:

Faux Wood & Aluminium

Ideal for moisture-prone spaces like kitchens and bathrooms due to their resistance to humidity and warping. These blinds can be easily cleaned with mild detergent and water without compromising the finish.

Real Wood

Best suited for living rooms, dining areas, and bedrooms, where their natural warmth and rich textures can shine. Available in a range of finishes—including painted options and natural woods like Basswood, Bamboo, and Abachi—these blinds should be cleaned by dusting or with a soft, damp cloth.

Venetian blinds serve as an excellent foundational layer for your window design. Pair them with curtains or drapes to elevate the look, add softness, or introduce blackout capability. This layered approach combines function with style, offering both day-to-day practicality and enhanced aesthetic appeal.
